How did you get into the industry?

My significant other at the time, showed me a YouTube video of foreigners jumping on a trampoline for exercise and it piqued my interest. I did my research and saw they where doing classes in New York. Within months, I booked a flight and took the class. I was immediately hooked and could not wait to explore the options of opening my own studio in Atlanta.

What’s New in the Business or in the Franchise Model?

Due to recent events, we are starting to make our classes mobile to neighborhoods, schools, and other small box gyms. We also are launching an online program where clients can purchase trampolines and subscribe to our monthly streaming workouts.

Where do you See Opportunities or Challenges for the Franchise/Business Moving Forward?

The sky is the limit from here on out. With the new addition to our franchise model that means less overhead expenses and more profit to be made. As for challenges, I would say competition of other places mimicking our brand and style as well as mobile kid birthday parties.

What is your Goal for the Business Moving Forward?

My goal is to have BodyJump Fitness be the next big specialty gym. The benefits of rebound training is such a huge asset to our brand. We would love to eventually award scholarships to college students who major in health and fitness.

Talk to us About Training and Support, How Do You Deliver?

Training can be a 2-3 day time period. Within those days, we can go over moves, playlist, and how to structure the class. We will brush up on training every year and can offer support to all franchisees whenever they feel they need it during business hours. Delivery can be online or in person.

Your most difficult moment at the business?

The most difficult moment was when we had to introduce rebounding as a new fitness trend. Trying something new instilled fear in many people but once they tried a class we had a 90% turn around rate.
