How did you get into the industry?

For as long as I can remember, I’ve had a natural talent and love towards all things beauty. I pursued a career as an Esthetician, attending the Aveda Institute of New Orleans in 2004. By 2005, I was exceeding industry standards and gaining more experience. I’ve been doing this for over 15 years now and I absolutely love it! I live out the adage “’Love what you do, and you will never work a day in your life”. These are great words to live by! 

What’s New in the Franchise Model?

Every membership package and process that we are bringing to the franchise model has been tested through not only my experience in the industry, but in our current locations. The model is a perfect replication of our proven business model that we’ve been perfecting since 2009. Our franchisees are being given the secrets to our success and will be guided through their ownership journey by myself and our expert team.

Where do you See Opportunities or Challenges for the Franchise/Business Moving Forward?

The 2020 pandemic was a small challenge for us at first. However, we’ve seen our innovation rise to the occasion. Bombshell Waxing is already set apart in the industry due to our stringent hygienic standards, so we were able to reopen quickly. I believe that our waxing memberships will continue to differentiate us from any competitors out there and the opportunity ahead of us is to grow even stronger!

What are your unique points of training and support?

Working closely with me is a unique point for sure. I’ve been doing this for over 15 years and I believe that what I’ve built here at Bombshell Waxing — the dual phase training program, the ongoing operational support structure, the social media guidelines, the high standard of techniques — this all combines to form the ultimate opportunity for a franchisee to learn; they will feel that they are a part of something bigger and a part of a network of like-minded people. Our franchisees can be confident stepping into the Bombshell Waxing family because they are a part of a team that is cheering them on in their success.

What does Your Franchisee Do in the Business Every Day?

Our franchisees will be involved in overseeing the entire business in day-to-day operations and ensuring that their location is following our proven system of procedures. They will form relationships with our clients and be the “face” of their location.

Who is the Ideal Franchise Candidate?

The ideal Bombshell Waxing candidate will have a background in the beauty industry or a related field. This person will have a passion for helping women and men feel and look their best. They most definitely need to be a strong leader, a people person, and someone with exceptional customer service skills. Management abilities and basic business knowledge, of course, are important too.

What Goals Do You Have for the Franchise Model in the Future?

I want Bombshell Waxing to be as flawless of a brand as possible. We want people to see us and know that they will be getting a safe, sanitary, beautiful experience. I hope to continue to expand through franchising and to set the bar high within the industry.
