Where do you See Opportunities or Challenges for the Franchise/Business Moving Forward?

Finding the right leaders that are looking to develop people as leaders within their business and connect with clients on a deeper level.  The opportunity is for those that are looking to lead vs. manage to approach our business with the right mindset and employ the technology to truly affect a client’s business beyond traditional thinking.

What is your Goal for the Security Pros Business Moving Forward?

Our goal is to make an impact in our industry by developing franchisee’s that have the same vision and want to be the very best at what they do.  We want to provide our employees with a place they are proud to call their workplace and develop a culture that attracts the very best talent.

Talk to us About Training and Support, How Do You Deliver in the Security Pros Franchise System?

This effort goes well beyond the start up.  We have the ability today to collaborate like never before.  We intend on being very hands on in the beginning and provide a platform to communicate not only back to corporate but across the franchisee network. This has proven very successful in our existing business, and we intend on continuing that here.  Additionally, our suppliers are there to support our effort as well.  Each market has regional people that will be there to help with the technology and expand the training and support for the field-based staff.  By specializing in certain products and services the ramp up time is much shorter, and we can be more effective faster.

Your most difficult moment so far at the Franchise Business?

The start-up.  Building the operation and taking on the early cost before you have a client is by far the hardest part of the franchise model. With us being in business for 13 years already we have many proven processes in place and our staff is ready for this new challenge.  We have developed leaders to take our place and allow us to travel and support the franchisees as they build their businesses.

Define the Security Pros Franchise Model:

Day in the life of a Franchisee?

  1. The day is filled with motivation for your team, understanding that your sales team is developing opportunities, your internal staff is supporting the field installation and service teams, and everyone is on the same journey.
  2. Daily you are looking to market, network, train, empower and support your staff.

What does Your Franchisee Do in the Business Every Day?

I am expecting the franchise to be the example of the brand and ensure that the mission of building a strong business culture is paramount in their operation.  We are not looking for managers.  People quit managers.  People follow leaders that jump in the truck and go with someone to be a part of their daily tasks.  The leader must be a part of the daily operation and be a part of the brand message within the territory.  Attend events, be a member of the community and engage with organizations that develop the next generation.
