How did you get into the industry?

Farmer’s First. Franny and Jeff Tacy had a vision of a “seed to shelf” business model that would allow full control of the supply chain, retail experience, and customer relationships. They implemented systems and procedures that laid the foundation for the business that exist today. Passion for cannabis and its endless applications became the bedrock of our soul purpose which is to provide “healing without the high.”

What’s New in the Business or in the Franchise Model?

As a vertically integrated company, Franny’s Farmacy offers high quality, locally sourced products that we develop in house from “seed to shelf.” We have a continually growing product line that offers baby products, cosmetics, and pet products, just to name a few.

Where do you See Opportunities or Challenges for the Franchise/Business Moving Forward?

Opportunities – our brand strength is applicable in any market nationwide and we plan to eventually tap the international marketplace as well.

What is your Goal for the Business Moving Forward?

As a franchise business we plan to expand to all 50 states. The Franny’s brand has proven strength in multiple markets from Georgia to Connecticut. The brand is appealing in any and all markets nationwide.

Talk to us About Training and Support, How Do You Deliver?

Franny’s is a “Turn-Key” franchise experience. The franchisee is provided assistance in all aspects of the store development. When the franchisee is ready to hire staff, our in house franchise team provides applicable candidates that have been vetted for proper skill set and persona. Each new employee is required to travel to our farm right outside of Asheville, NC to spend a few days on the farm and in our corporate stores. This provides new employees to obtain a full understanding of “what we do and how we do it.”
