How did you get into the industry?

Immediately following college I began working for a staffing agency as a recruiter and it provided me the ability to work with many different people and grow quickly within the company. I found that there was no limit to the level of success I could have, it really depended on what I made of it.

What’s New in the Business or in the Franchise Model?

The industry has been growing and changing each year since I started Essential Pros., one area of focus has been leveraging leading technologies which allows our company to operate more efficiently and allows our employment consultants to place more people in jobs. Our franchise model has been created through a combination of the use of leading technology and exceptional customer service.

Where do you See Opportunities or Challenges for the Franchise/Business Moving Forward?

The demand for staffing has never been greater. There have consistently been more job openings nationwide than there are people available. The outlook for growth continues to be strong as staffing is used in nearly every industry.

What is your Goal for the Business Moving Forward?

My goal is to share the successes I have had with Essential Pros with other entrepreneurs who want to be successful. I believe franchising is a great way to do this through our proven systems and back office support so franchisees can focus on growing their own office.

Talk to us About Training and Support, How Do You Deliver?

Essential Pros provides an extensive training program on how to run your own employment agency, which includes sales, recruiting, marketing and operations. Initial training will be provided at the corporate headquarters, on-site at your office and remotely. Our web-based Essential YOUniversity is available for you to reference and to assist you with teaching your new staff members as you grow. Essential Pros also provides support to cover accounting, marketing, training, risk management, technology, and administration.

How is your Franchise Model Structured?

A. Training and Support Model?

B. What is the Fee Structure? .5% national marketing fee, 5.5% royalty, $30,000 franchise fee

C. Territory Definition? Will be determined based on the franchisees preference. A franchise will not be offered in a territory where another franchisee is located.

D. Day in the life of a Franchisee?
All franchise owners will find the greatest growth by being hands-on in the daily activities. We have found that active owners who gain new clients through sales, marketing and community involvement, as well as those who spend much of their time in the office recruiting, interviewing and placing candidates, have grown quickly. Actively managing accounts and teaching their staff of employment consultants how to effectively manage accounts while tracking KPI’s and managing accountability will lead the franchise owner to the greatest success. Each day will look slightly different as there are always new jobs, clients and applicants. It is a fast pace environment that requires attention to detail, follow up and urgency. The opportunity to meet with many different people each day is one of the best parts of this industry.

What does Your Franchisee Do in the Business Every Day?

Same as above. The franchise owner will be hands-on working with their staff as well as developing new clients, recruiting and advertising and operationally making sure the business runs successfully.

Who is the Ideal Franchise Candidate?

The ideal person is someone who loves working with people. They need to be friendly and outgoing, willing to network in their communities and have a proven background in operating a business. Past experience in the staffing industry is helpful but not required. This is a position where the franchisee will be recruiting, interviewing and placing people into jobs as well as developing new accounts. If the franchisee has a desire and drive to be successful, we can teach them the business.

Success Stories and Failures with Franchisees?

Those who have been successful within our company are those that want to be better today than they were yesterday. Being successful in this industry is done by working urgently, providing excellent follow up and customer service while placing the best people into the best jobs. We have had an employee in our company start as our receptionist and now have become our largest commission earner. This was possible because of her drive to be successful and by following our proven business model.

What Goals Do you Have for the Franchise Model in the Future?

To add successful franchisees throughout the United States allowing all partners to benefit from the large size of our company while owning and managing their own staffing business.
