How did you get into the industry?

During a low point in my life I found that fitness helped me to survive and begin a holistic approach on life. Seeing how much it helped me I knew that I could help others obtain the same lifestyle and in doing so I found my gift and passion.
After falling in love with the process, results & community my wife also became passionate about transforming peoples lives. She left her job and joined me as a co-owner and trainer.

What’s New in the Business or in the Franchise Model?

The fitness industry is always evolving. We do our best to continue to grow with it and keep our authenticity. For us specifically, we incorporate different modules of training in our programming. We program a different workout daily, add challenging finishers & end with a conversation that leaves our community motivated and challenged to become the best version of themselves in every aspect of their life. We believe that our approach to fitness and providing content to apply to life outside of fitness is new to the fitness industry.

Where do you See Opportunities or Challenges for the Franchise/Business Moving Forward?

We believe the opportunities are endless. Fitness is constantly growing and evolving.  The only challenge we see is ensuring that our franchisees keep it authentic, uphold the brand name and what the brand stands for.

What is your Goal for the Business Moving Forward?

We want G.U.R.U. Fitness to not only provide a world class experience for every person that walks through the doors, but we want to be known worldwide for our unique approach to fitness and adding value to everyone in our community.

Talk to us About Training and Support, How Do You Deliver?

We will deliver training and support through an open line of communication and in any other ways needed. It is very important to us that our franchisees know that we are there for them. We know the importance of support and we value it. We also understand that not everyone is the same, some may need more training and support than others. We are okay with that and we want to help. We are deep rooted in our belief in one team, one dream.

Your most difficult moment at the Franchise Business?

Being patient through the process. We know what we have to offer, and we are excited about seeing another dream of ours come to life so it’s hard sometimes to just be patient.

What Goals Do You Have for the Franchise Model in the Future?

• Provide the best training and support for franchisees
• Continuously find ways for our franchisees to increase profit margin
• Provide excellent customer service
• Marketing tactics that reach the right customers
• Create a community with all of our franchisees and have a yearly retreat for them
