How did you get into the industry?

It all started years ago when I experimented with different recipes to improve the taste of fried chicken. After adding my improved Nashville style chicken to my restaurant’s menu, long lines started to form; It was then when I decided to share my passion for great flavors with the rest of the World with the creation of Al’s Hot Chicken. My one-of-a-kind flavors have made people fall in love with our great-tasting, high-quality chicken on their very first bite! It’s not just about the restaurant for me it’s about Love; Love for the people in our lives and for the dishes that bring us together.

Al’s Hot Chicken focuses on Fresh, Never Frozen, Halal fried chicken.
We have the best comfort food to get you through the hottest of times.

What’s new in the business or in the franchise model?

This business model started from a trend but we quickly realized that it is more than that. The quality of food and the emotional feel it offers to the customers is completely different than a traditional fast-food chain. We believe that not only this business model is new and trendy, but it could be a great stepping stone for any person looking to differentiate themselves from traditional franchises brands

Where do you see opportunities or challenges for the franchise/business moving forward?

We see opportunities in the way to treat our franchisees. We believe that we have a strong business model that can
fit any investor with any financial status. We thrive through the success of our franchisees and believe in growing a big family.  The challenges we see coming, which are great, are the organization of the corporate office. We will need to make sure that our training is on point, that our suppliers are providing the exact same items to the franchisees, that our marketing strategies work for them and that our franchisees have enough material to organize themselves and succeed.

What is your goal for the business moving forward?

We hope to become a lifestyle brand and not a trend. We want to get through generations and be part of the community, wherever we are!

Talk to us about training and support and how do you deliver.

We will focus on in-depth in-house training. We plan to cover every role needed to succeed as well as their responsibilities. We want to make sure to prepare the franchise in every aspect. We will train them with our designated cook to make sure that the recipe is mastered. We would like to offer them as much guidance as possible.

Your most difficult moment at the business?

It’s too early to tell just yet regarding difficult moments. We believe that we have all of the right pieces in place foundationally for this to be a smooth journey. When difficult moments arise, I have complete confidence that our team will navigate those flawlessly.

Define your franchise model:

Training and Support Model?
We will have myself (Founder & CEO), Nazim (VP of Operations) and trained coaches that will go over every aspect of the company.  We want to tell our story and make sure that they have all the support, during and after training, needed.

What is the Fee Structure?
The franchise fee will be $30K. Multi-Unit: $20k
Marketing: 2% on the gross sales/ month
Royalties: 5% on the gross sales / month

Territory Definition?
For now we want to make sure that we offer enough business to each franchise. Therefore, we will offer them a 5 miles radius that way they can maximize their earning potential

What does your franchisee do in the business every day?

Our franchisees will focus on delivering a top quality service to each and every person who walks through our door or who interacts with our brand. Whether that is managing/coaching staff members on customer service techniques or ensuring operational guidelines are being met, our franchise partners will actively be involved in the day to day operations of their business.

Who is the ideal franchise candidate?

Someone motivated, eager to learn and succeed. A person with great values, personally and professionally.
We want someone that is a hard worker and that cares about his employees. We need someone that will be proud

What goals do you have for the franchise model in the future?

Our goal is to continue to dial in our brand to run efficiently, have costs make sense for both the franchisee and the customer and be a staple in the communities in which we reside. Like I said before, we hope to become a lifestyle brand, not a trend. Our hope is for steady growth and brand recognition throughout the country.
